The DMX to DALI decoder 7044B-H is the successor of the famous 7044A-H, featuring same functionality but extended address range. The decoder can drive 4 single or group addresses on the DALI bus [SEE NOTE 2], and can be reconfigured to 64 single addresses (max) or 16 group addresses (max) to make existing DALI installations DMX compatible. Please note the limited data speed available on the DALI bus (about 400 times less than DMX data speed); extending the address range beyond the factory default setting may result in delays on the DALI bus.

Das 7061B-H unterstützt Random DALI Long-Adressing und kann damit auch in einer bestehenden DALI Konfiguration automatisch konfiguriert werden.

To operate DMX512 devices on the DALI bus, a suitable format converter is needed. The 7061B-H allocates one DALI address and re-routes all intensity data (direct arc levels, group levels, or scene levels) as DMX512 data to the DMX output. Thus DMX spots, DMX dimmers, DMX driven LED assemblies or DMX effects a simply be integrated into a DALI system.
The 7061B-H supports Random DALI long-addressing and can automatically be commissioned by DALI programming tools.

Damit ein geschlossener Adressblock erhalten bleibt, ist es bereits auf einen Block von 16 konsekutiven DALI Short-Adressen pre-programmiert und erfordert somit einen DALI-Controller, der eine bestehende Anlagenkonfiguration auslesen kann. Das ist bei den meisten Controllern (z.B. Tridonic X-Touch Box, X-Touch Panel, SLH USB-DALI, Zumtobel Emotion etc) problemlos möglich. KNX-DALI Gateways sind nur einsetzbar, wenn Sie diesen Modus ebenfalls unterstützen (z.B. Busch-Jaeger 6197/41). Geräte mit Auto-Adressierung (z.B ABB DGS-1/1) sind ungeeignet.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The 7064A-H uses 16 consecutive pre-defined DALI short addresses to ensure 1:1 ALI/DMX address matching. It does not support random DALI Long-AdressingThus a DALI controller must be able to read existing configurations (e.g. Tridonic X-Touch Box, X-Touch Panel, SLH USB-DALI, Zumtobel Emotion etc). Please note, that many KNX-DALI gateways do not allow to work with pre-set bus addressing. Only KNX gateways supporting pre-set configurations (e.g. Busch-Jaeger 6197/41) can be used. Gateways supporting only auto-adressing (e.g ABB DGS-1/1) can not be used with the 7064A-H.

The USB-DALI allows to access a DALI installation from PC. You can read and write configurations, set DALI addresses, roup assignments and more. A DALI monitor tool allows to read and log bus commands anytime. A comprehensive software tool is included with delivery.

DALI BUSSTROMVERSORGUNG
Der DALI Bus ist normalerweise ungespeist, alle Teilnehmer passiv. In diesem Fall wird eine Busstromversorgung benötigt. Die DALI-PS eignet sich für DIN Tragschienenmontage und liefert einen Busstrom von max. 200mA. DALI BUS POWER SUPPLY
All DALI bus participants are passie devices. Thus the DALI bus needs a special bus power supply. The DALI-PS snaps onto standard DIN rail and supplies about 200mA of current for up to 64 standard bus loads (2mA each).
