Möchte man DMX Geräte über Schalter oder Potentiometer bedienen, dann braucht man ein Gerät, das diese Werte digitalisiert und in ein serielles, digitales DMX512 Format konvertiert. Diese Geräte nennt man Multiplexer.   Electrical values derived from switches, potentiometers or voltage sources must be digitized and serialized in DMX512 format before they can be used with other DMX512 comtaible equipment. The conversion can easily be made using a DMX Multiplexer.

[DMX INTERFACE]  


Der DMX Multiplexer 3112A-H ist ein Modul für Schaltschrankmontage und kann direkt auf Standard DIN Normtragschienen montiert werden. Er akzeptiert 12 analoge Eingangssignale mit einer Eingangsspannung 0...+10V (bzw. 1...+10V), die in ein normmäßiges DMX512 Ausgangssignal konvertiert werden.

VERSCHALTUNG
Die Verschaltung des Moduls ist einfach: Netzspannung und DMX Ausgang anklemmen und los geht‘s. Alle Klemmen sind WAGO Federklemmen mit den bekannten Vorteilen: sicherer Federkontakt, schnelle werkzeuglose Bedienung, keine Schauben, die sich lösen können. Die Analogeingänge werden über einen Multipin-Flachbandkabelstecker kontaktiert und lassen sich so sehr einfach vollständig trennen.

Als Standardkonfiguration sind 0-10V Eingänge gesetzt. Alternativ sind die Eingänge konfigurierbar als 1-10V Eingänge* oder als Schalteingänge. Der DMX Multiplexer verfügt zusätzlich über einen DMX Eingang, der es erlaubt, die gemultiplexten Analogwerte mit einem einkommenden DMX Signal zu mergen oder dort einzufügen. Damit läßt sich eine DMX Steuerung auch durch zusätzlich erfasste analoge Eingänge erweitern.

The DMX multiplexer 3112A-H is intended for installation in electrical cabinets and mounts on standard DIN rail 35mm. The multiplexer accepts upt to 12 analog input signals (voltage 0...+10V (or 1...+10V, respectively), which are converted into DMX512 format (12 slots used).

WIRING
Wiring is quite simple: connect power and DMX and there you go. The analog input adapter (flat band cable) comes with the module. We use WAGO cage clamp connectors throughout, featuring easy installation (open clamp, insert wire, release), safe connection (no srews with tendency to get loose) and easy identification (color coding).

The standard configuration is set to 0-10V sensitivity. When grabbing voltage from a 1-10V architectural control system*, the input sensitivity can be change to match the 1...10V voltage range. The DMX multiplexer offers a additional DMX input, which allows to merge the multiplexed analog input data to a incoming DMX telegram, or replace data slots with the converted values.

Die Konfiguration des DMX Multiplexers 3112A-H kann mit einem Startadressboard 3000P erfolgen, das getrennt bestellt werden muss. Es ist für alle DIN-Geräte verwendbar, nur einmalig erforderlich und daher nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten. The DMX multipexer 3112A-H can be configured using a start address board 3000P, which must be ordered separately. The addresser is a separate unit, which can be used for all our products. It is not contained with delivery.
